Preparatory courses: level playing field
To prepare for the MSM in-class activities, we recommend that those without an adequate academic background in economics, management or finance attend our online tutorials on Economics, Accounting and Data Analysis.
Core modules
This phase of MSM consists of 9 in-class compulsory courses, 1 seminar and 1 compulsory workshop in green economy with the purpose of providing the fundamental knowledge and skills to tackle issues related to sustainability and energy challenges.
Field projects
Field projects are a key part of the MSM learning experience, allowing students to mimic real-life situations and work on practical assignments as part of their compulsory class activities. MSM field projects are short-term assignments to be carried out in close cooperation with a company or any other organization interested in taking advantage of the training provided by this specialized program. Field projects will be organized with leading global organizations in the fields of corporate sustainability, energy and environment.
Specialization modules: concentration track
There are three specialization tracks:
• SUSTAINABLE ENERGY TRANSITION
• SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGIES
• SUSTAINABLE VALUE CREATION AND FINANCE (SCF)
Each track includes four specialized courses aiming at further training students in a particular subarea of sustainability depending on their professional ambitions. Each student must choose one track at the beginning of the master and then attend all four relevant courses; furthermore each student will have to attend two more specialized courses from the other tracks.
Final project (alternative options)
In the last phase students can opt for either a in-company experience, for a minimum of 12 weeks or for research project. The in-company experience and research project will be tutored by the Master’s faculty members.
