A challenging but high-return investment

 

Participation in the MSM program implies a fair financial commitment. But it is a strategic investment that certainly offers high future returns—both personally and professionally.

Fees & expenses

    The tuition fee for the 2026 MSM program is € 30,000, payable in four installments:
  • First Installment

    € 8,000
    upon acceptance of admission

  • Second Installment

    € 8,000
    by 26 February 2026
     

  • Third Installment

    € 7,000
    by 30 April 2026

  • Fourth Installment

    € 7,000
    by 30 June 2026

  • Application fee: €120

    The fees include:

    • Most teaching material (although some texts must be purchased separately)
    • Access to SDA Bocconi’s facilities and database
    • Courses in Italian language, with the possibility of attaining the CILS qualification of Italian language proficiency

    Participants must provide their own laptop.

    Other expenses:

    Personal expenses will vary significantly depending on each individual's lifestyle. In general, the cost of living in Milan is comparable to that of other major European cities. We aim to provide you with an accurate expectation of monthly expenses based on information provided by our full-time master students in recent years: 

    Housing: € 800-1500
    Meals: € 450
    Transport: € 100
    Misc. Expenses: € 350

    Total € 1,700-2,400

Scholarships & tuition waivers

Each year, SDA Bocconi School of Management makes multiple merit-based scholarships and tuition waivers available for outstanding candidates.

Applications are evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • Analysis of the requirements indicated in the specific notice of competition
  • Analysis of academic and professional records
  • Results of the MSM selection process

To be eligible for a tuition waiver, applicants must:

  • Submit their application for the MSM 2026 program
  • Review the pre-requisites for the tuition waiverl
  • Flag the tuition waiver option through the online application portal by the indicated deadline

Important:

  • Applicants will be considered eligible for a tuition waiver only after completing the MSM application, including the online form and all supporting documents
  • You can apply for scholarships and tuition waivers even if your selection process is still in progress. However, only admitted candidates will be evaluated for the awarding of a tuition waiver or scholarship
  • If you meet multiple requirements, you may apply for more than one scholarship or tuition waiver

The tuition waivers will be awarded during the selection process and no later than the starting date of the MSM 2026 Program.
Participants are encouraged to explore various funding opportunities available in different countries, such as employer sponsorships or scholarships provided by private foundations, international organizations, or local governments.

Tuition waivers

For the 2026 MSM edition, multiple tuition waivers (covering up to 50% of the total tuition fee) are available to outstanding candidates. You can apply to the scholarship/ tuition waivers even though your selection process is still in progress.
Admission to the program is independent of the awarding of any scholarship or tuition waiver.

Loans & funding for candidates

The School assists candidates with their search for funding by supplying the necessary documentation and encouraging them to explore all scholarship and loan possibilities.
SDA Bocconi provides opportunities for low-interest loans to admitted students (International students, Italian students), thanks to agreements with partner banks.
Loan applications must be submitted by the end of month that follows your Master starting date.
Furthermore, the University provides international students with information about possible sources for financing in several countries.
